Kailey Chapman

Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture)

Kailey is an acupuncturist with a deep passion for supporting women through every stage of life, from first periods to motherhood and menopause. She takes a gentle, Japanese style approach to acupuncture, working with the nervous system to create a calm, restorative experience that helps women feel truly at home in their bodies.

With a special focus on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menstrual health, Kailey understands that these transitions can be both beautiful and challenging.  She takes the time to listen, ensuring each treatment is tailored to her client’s unique needs whether they’re navigating period pain, hormonal imbalances, stress, or the exhaustion of new motherhood.

Kailey’s treatments begin with gentle abdominal and body palpation, allowing her to identify imbalances and receive instant feedback from the body. This hands on approach helps her tailor each session in real time, using acupuncture and moxibustion to restore balance and ease.

Kailey’s approach to healing is rooted in both tradition and practicality. She believes that true wellness comes from understanding the body and feeling empowered to make the right choices for long-term health.
She loves helping women tune into their bodies, cut through the overwhelm of conflicting advice, and find balance in a way that feels natural and sustainable.

Experience in supporting:

  • Fertility and preconception care (including IVF and cycle tracking)

  • Pregnancy care (nausea, pain, breech presentation, birth preparation)
Postpartum recovery (hormonal balance, fatigue, emotional wellbeing)

  • Menstrual cycle health (PMS, PMDD, painful periods, irregular cycles)
    - Endometriosis and adenomyosis
    - PCOS and hypothalamic amenorrhoea
    - Stress, anxiety, and nervous system regulation
    - Cosmetic acupuncture for skin health and radiance

Kailey also welcomes clients of all genders and ages, including children, with no minimum age requirement. Kailey adapts her approach based on how children present and parents' comfort levels. Her sessions often include gentle acupressure points and soothing massage techniques tailored for young clients.

Outside the clinic, Kailey enjoys slow mornings at local cafés, unwinding in her garden, and spending quality time with family and friends. She values deep conversations, cozy nights in, and creating space for rest and reflection, principles she brings into her practice as well.

At Vera Wellness, Kailey offers a warm and nurturing space where women can feel supported, find relief, and reconnect with their health in a meaningful way.

Kailey is a registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is a very old medicine that predates recorded history. It was originally designed as the primary form of health care in ancient China and includes acupuncture, tuina (Chinese remedial massage), Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese dietary therapy, cupping and moxibustion.

A main feature of TCM is its whole person approach to disease management and prevention.

Good health requires balance in both our internal and external environments. TCM, through observation, detailed client history, palpation of the body and pulse and tongue diagnosis, seeks to find the pattern of disharmony and then to correct this through acupuncture, herbal medicine and other TCM treatment tools.
