Histocytopathologist

Dr Peta Fairweather is a consultant histocytopathologist at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology’s central laboratory in Brisbane. Dr Fairweather has special interests in breast pathology, gynaecological pathology and cytology. She previously served on the Queensland committee reference group for the cervical screening program update and continues to work closely with clinicians and performs a large number of intra-operative assessments. Dr Fairweather is a member of the Australasian Society of Breast Disease, Australian Society of Cytology and the International Academy of Cytology.
